Reeminikin pottery is handmade intentionally, shaped and painted by hand in small batches. Subtle variations are part of the process- marks of touch, time, and intention that give each pieces its own quiet character.
The Process
| Made slowly, one piece at a time.
Each piece begins in raw clay, formed without molds and finished by hand. Earthenware is used for its wamth and character, then painted indivisually rather than glazed, giving every piece its own personality.
No two pieces are ever exactly alike. Slight variations in form, brushstroke, and tone are part of the process, not imperfections.
